Performing Together While Sheltered Apart

“A Little Beauty” is a performance by San Francisco Ballet dancers and orchestra during Shelter in Place. Using theme from the Garland Waltz of The Sleeping Beauty, 57 San Francisco Ballet Orchestra musicians recorded their performances with their phones, and 27 dancers from SF Ballet created individual choreography in their homes, parks and streets. “During these difficult times, we hope to share a little joy such as what we experienced in creating ‘Beauty’,” say the artists involved in the project.
