Danielle Rowe Choreographer Profile

Listen to Danielle Rowe talk about MADCAP, the new work that she created for next@90 festival.

Danielle Rowe always knew she was destined for the stage. Following her training at The Australian Ballet School, she became principal dancer with The Australian Ballet before moving to Houston Ballet and Nederlands Dans Theater. After retiring from dance, Rowe choreographed numerous works nationally and internationally. In the past few years, she has been an integral part of the SF Ballet family, creating memorable pieces such as the vaudeville-style piece Wooden Dimes—part of SF Ballet’s 2023 Digital Season—and Unsaid.

MADCAP is part of next@90 Curtain Call, which runs April 2–13, 2024.
