NUTCRACKER LET’S DANCE FAMILY WORKSHOP

NUTCRACKER LET’S DANCE FAMILY WORKSHOP

Does your child love to dance?

Are you going to SF Ballet’s Nutcracker in December? Is watching Nutcracker a family holiday tradition? Before you bring your family to see a performance on the Opera House stage, join us in the ballet studio for a Nutcracker Let’s Dance Family Workshop to learn about the story, characters, music, and choreography that you’ll see during the performance.

The workshop includes an interactive ballet intro to Nutcracker taught by SF Ballet School faculty member, Miss Kristi, a chance to watch excerpts from Act II of Nutcracker, and an opportunity to meet and take photos with dancers. Our Nutcracker Family Workshop is equally a perfect way to prepare your child to see Nutcracker for the first time or to delight kids who already know our production by heart.

Children should wear comfortable clothes that allow for movement. Ballet shoes are not required. Children are welcome to wear their favorite ballet costume.
