One-hour ballet bar class will take place on Zoom. You will receive the Zoom link via email about 25 minutes prior to class. Online registration closes 30 minutes prior to the start of each class.
$12 per class or $100 for a 10-class pass

One-and-a-half-hour ballet class will take place at 455 Franklin Street in San Francisco. COVID-19 vaccinations are required to attend all in-person classes. You will present your card to the SFB staff member before your first class. Acceptable forms include a physical card, a photograph of your card, or the digital CA vaccination record.
Upon entry at SFB, you will be asked to answer the health screening questions. If you anticipate answering yes to any of the questions, please do not come to SFB. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will allow you to reschedule for another class.
Everyone must always wear a mask in the SF Ballet Building. Acceptable masks include surgical, N95, KN95, and fabric masks. Please wear your mask properly, over your nose and under your chin. Masks that are NOT acceptable include masks with a valve or those that are a scarf or gator style.
Please don’t arrive any more than 15 minutes prior to class, or you will be asked to wait outside. Check-in will begin 15 minutes prior to class in the lobby, and pre-registration is required through MindBody via the app or the website. At this time, we cannot accept walk-up registrations.

The beginner series is for adults who are new to ballet and those who want to get a handle on the basics. Instruction is broken down to the core elements and then built upon each week so that you’ll finish feeling confident and excited to participate in drop-in classes.
VIRTUAL: TUESDAYS, 9:00–10:00 AM, FRIDAYS 9:30–10:30 AM & SATURDAYS (NOVEMBER 13 – DECEMBER 11 ONLY) 9:30–10:30 AM
STUDIO: WEDNESDAYS 9:30–11:00 AM
This class is for adults who are new to ballet or have taken ballet classes for less than two years. This class will focus on basic ballet technique.
VIRTUAL: Mondays 9:30-11:00 AM, THURSDAYS 6:00–7:00 PM
STUDIO: MONDAYS 9:30–11:00 AM, SUNDAYS 1:45–3:15 PM
This class is for adults who have completed a minimum of two years of beginner-level drop-in classes or have previous ballet experience. Students should have a clear understanding of ballet terminology and basic combinations.
VIRTUAL: THURSDAYS 9:30–10:30 AM
STUDIO: TUESDAYS 9:30–11:00 AM
These classes are for students who have completed a minimum of two years of consistent Beginner/Intermediate level drop-in classes or have a considerable amount of previous ballet experience. Students should have strong technique at the barre and center.
VIRTUAL: TUESDAYS 2:30–3:30 PM
This class is specifically designed for seniors who love fitness and ballet. Classes will offer the benefits of a classical ballet technique class with gentle modifications to honor well-lived backs, hips, knees, and ankles. Once a month, a San Francisco Ballet Audience Engagement Program Expert will “zoom in” with a short in-class experience encompassing dance history, repertory analysis, and other opportunities to learn about the World of Dance and SF Ballet.
OUR STUDIOS AND FACILITIES
Students may check-in and use the designated studio and restrooms on the first floor 15 minutes prior to the start of each class. Restrooms are located outside of the studios. Showers and designated changing rooms are not available.
For the safety and consideration of all, studio doors close five minutes after class begins. Adult participants need to exit the building within 15 minutes after the class has ended.
All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Single classes have a 30-day expiration. You can track your expiration date on your MindBody account online or through the MindBody app. Please note: Expiration dates will not be extended for any reason, including session breaks.
If you are unable to attend a class, please go to your MindBody account and cancel at least 1 hour before your pre-paid class. If you cancel in 1 hour or less before the class starts, you will be charged for that class.
