WORLD BALLET DAY

WORLD BALLET DAY

World Ballet Day is November 2!

World Ballet Day returns for its ninth year, bringing together a host of the world’s leading companies for a packed day of dance.

On November 2, we will share a variety of content on our YouTube and Facebook pages that offer unique behind-the-scenes glimpses of our upcoming season.

The 2023 season is a special one for us: we're celebrating San Francisco Ballet's 90th anniversary and focusing on the future, including next@90, a festival of nine new works by nine choreographers bringing diverse perspectives to ballet. As part of World Ballet Day, you’ll get a glimpse into these artists and their works as well as rehearsals of some fan favorites.

World Ballet Day offers the opportunity for everyone who loves ballet to take the time to honor and appreciate this meaningful art form. It is also a wonderful moment to think about all our young ballet lovers and how we can support the next generation of San Francisco Ballet dancers and students.

While you immerse yourself in our programming for World Ballet Day, we hope you will consider making a donation to San Francisco Ballet to help us empower young ballet lovers to pursue their dreams through our Education programs and at the San Francisco Ballet School.

Thank you for your support of San Francisco Ballet and of the global ballet community!
